How Self Watering Technology Works:

Our planters feature large water reservoirs that nourish your plants from the ground up through capillary action. Moisture is drawn as needed eliminating the risk of under-watering or worse yet over-watering. Click here for more details about how our planters work.

Plant food can be added directly to the water reservoir ensuring a continuous supply of nutrients.

Key Design Components:

Drainage Holes – The planting medium must be able to effectively drain moisture back into the water reservoir after heavy rainfall.

Air Gap – An air gap between the planting compartment and the water reservoir is necessary to allow for proper drainage

Overflow Hole – Prevents overfilling of the water reservoir and drowning of plants.
