Commercial Rectangular Planters

Rectangular planters have many advantages that make them a popular choice with our customers. First of all, the narrow rectangular shape allows you to line the entire front or wall of your business with planters, while taking up less space than round or square planters with similar volume. Many store fronts have limited area to display plants. Our rectangular planters take up less than two feet of floor space depth. This allows plenty of room for a vibrant and welcoming array of planters and greenery.

Our rectangular planters, specifically our Hampton and Kingston planters, both create a beautiful, minimalistic design space for your area. They both feature wide planting areas (Hampton- 46″ wide and Kingston- 30″ wide) and large soil volume that can easily be the home to a wide of a variety of plants. So for areas that are limited in space, they are a great solution.

Rectangular planters can be lined up directly next to each other to create a nearly seamless wall of planters. This can be done to provide separate between sitting areas or act as a barrier. Many of our customers also use these to line the decks of their patios or businesses. Again, the narrow footprint allows for a beautiful border to separate seating areas from their surroundings.

Rectangular Self-Watering Planters

At Urbanscape, all of our planters are self-watering. What this means is that plants are hydrated via a reservoir inside the planter or pot. The planter’s reservoir is filled up weekly (or even less frequently with larger planters) and the soil draws the water up using capillary action. This type of watering offers many advantages: less water use, better plant health, fewer leaf/stem problems and less labour.
